In October 2015, Micro Enterprise Support Program Trust supported Ark with a capacity building matching grant of Kenya Shillings Two Million, Five Hundred and Fifty Five Thousand Only (2,555,000). This grant was meant to support;

  1. Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop for potential trainers (Staff).
  2. Training on Natural Resource Management (NRM), Value Chain & Farm Enterprise Management (Staff).
  3. Pre Credit Training (New Members).
    More than 1,000 members were trained on natural resources management, pre credit training, solar cooking, bee keeping and interlocking block making in Taveta, Mwatate, Voi, Wundanyi and Samburu Sub Counties. This culminated into the formation of Ark Taveta and Ark Njucha FSAs.
